500 Kramat Jati Residents Vaccinated at As Sholihin Mosque

Total 500 residents had been vaccinated against COVID-19 at As Sholihin Mosque, Jl. Raya Condet, Balekambang, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, Thursday (12/16). This door-to-door vaccination service was carried out through collaboration between Kramat Jati Sub-district and Kramat Jati Health Center (Puskesmas), State Intelligence Agency (BIN) and As Sholihin Mosque administrators.

The initial vaccination target is 300 residents. But due to high enthusiasm of residents, today 500 residents have been vaccinated in total

Kramat Jati Sub-district Head, Rudi Syahrul stated, this door-to-door vaccination service was carried out to optimize vaccination service. In addition to increasing residents' immunity ahead of Christmas and New Year holidays, this vaccination was also held to prevent transmission of new variant of COVID-19, Omicron.

This service used Sinovac for first and second dose vaccines, and AstraZeneca for second dose vaccines.

"The initial vaccination target is 300 residents. But due to high enthusiasm of residents, today 500 residents have been vaccinated in total," he conveyed.

According to him, this vaccination served children, adults, and elderly. Even, there were also children aged 6-11 years who came to the location with their parents for vaccination.

His side deployed 8 health workers from health center as vaccinators and staffs for administration, observation, and registration.

"So far, there are no more COVID-19 cases in Kramat Jati. Hopefully there will be no more cases in the future and Kramat Jati will have green status," he mentioned.

This vaccination activity received positive response from local religious leader, K.H. Ahmad Fuadi because it made it easier for residents to access COVID-19 vaccination service.

"We would like to thank central government, Jakarta Government, and  BIN for carrying out this vaccination activity. I also urge residents to continue maintain health protocols during the pandemic," he said.
